“In this philosophy are expressed the mysticism of Eastern Orthodoxy, the messianism of the Slavic races and the Sobornost’ — the commonalty, the doctrine of the We — of Russia. The earthly futurism of Western philosophers of history is spiritualized into a doctrine of the age of the Spirit, vitalized by Christian eschatology. The ancient doctrines of the brotherhood of man and communion of the Saints are invigorated.
Berdyaev both examines the conditions of true social communion and investigates the means of true communion between man and Nature. These doctrines — the eschatology and the Sobornost’ between men and between man and nature — express in different ways the unity of his philosophy. Indeed the outstanding place of cosmogony in the doctrine and the mysticism of it guarantee its doctrinal unity. Everything in Berdyaev’s doctrine pertains to philosophy of history because everything pertains to the return of man and the world to God. And every assertion, every notion of his philosophy relates to his mysticism of history, to his mystical doctrine of Christ, the true Man and true Microcosm in Whom the cosmos, all history and every man belongs.”

Nicolai Berdyaev i "The Meaning of the Creative Act" side 126:
For creative philosophy, truth is not a passive reflection of something: truth is rather activity in giving meaning to something. The attainment of truth presupposes creative activity of the spirit: the spirit must resist the separation of subject from object and the conflict between creativity and being. The creative epoch and creative philosophy are characterized by a new and different gnosseology which throws light on the relative and partial truth of the old gnosseology, under the law. This new and different gnosseology is based entirely upon the idea of man as a microcosm and the centre of the universe. The microcosm, in its creative and dynamic relationship to the macrocosm, knows no fatal separation, no opposition. Man is a relative and an image of the cosmos, not because he is a fraction of the cosmos but because he is himself a whole cosmos and of one structure with the cosmos. Man's cosmic nature was suppressed by sin and it will be fully and finally revealed only in the creative epoch. Then it will be clearly evident to philosophical consciousness, that the creative act has existential and cosmic significance. Man the microcosm is able to express himself dynamically in the macrocosm, he has the power to create being, to change culture into being.
For kreativ filosofi er sandhed ikke en passiv afspejling af noget: sandhed er snarere aktivitet i at give mening til noget. Opnåelsen af sandhed forudsætter åndens skabende aktivitet: ånden skal modstå adskillelsen af subjekt fra objekt og konflikten mellem kreativitet og væren. Den kreative epoke og den kreative filosofi er præget af en ny og anderledes gnosseologi, som kaster lys over den relative og delvise sandhed af den gamle gnosseologi, under loven. Denne nye og anderledes gnosseologi er udelukkende baseret på ideen om mennesket som et mikrokosmos og universets centrum. Mikrokosmos, i dets kreative og dynamiske forhold til makrokosmos, kender ingen fatal adskillelse, ingen opposition. Mennesket er en slægtning og et billede af kosmos, ikke fordi det er en brøkdel af kosmos, men fordi det selv er et helt kosmos og af én struktur med kosmos. Menneskets kosmiske natur blev undertrykt af synd, og det vil kun blive fuldt og endeligt åbenbaret i den kreative epoke. Så vil det være klart for den filosofiske bevidsthed, at den skabende handling har eksistentiel og kosmisk betydning. Mennesket mikrokosmos er i stand til at udtrykke sig dynamisk i makrokosmos, det har magten til at skabe væren, til at ændre kultur til væren.
